This cup resembles the so called Army issue cup in height and width. The cup meas. approx. 4.25 inches tall x 4.25 inches across the bottom. About a third of the way down from the top rim there is a raised line running around the body of the cup. The handle is attached to the side by two rivets and solder at the top and a single rivet and solder at the bottom. The surface of the cup has a nice dark patina. There are no holes anywhere on the body or base. Stamped into the side of the cup just below the rim is a very small number “6” above a number “36.” This may mean the cup belonged to soldier #36 in the 6th Company which would be Company F but this is only conjecture.
